To find this restaurant, owned by a British wife and Spanish husband, head out of Moraira on the Teulada road, and you will find El Caserio on the right about one km from Moraira towards Teulada. The restaurant El Caserio almost hidden from the road and is up a driveway. There is plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. It is only open at night.
The premises occupy one big room on two levels with seating on both levels and a bar onthe top level. Outside there is a terrace you can eat outside in summer. And in winter there is usually a big log fire roaring away. Portions were very generous and service friendly, but can be a bit slow if they are busy - but in Spain you should not be in a hurry anyway.
The set meal is in the region of 20€. Starters can includ seafood crepe, a mussel gratin, chicken vol-au-vent or Moussaka. Main courses on offer can be shoulder of lamb, pork with mushrooms, salmon or sole. A wide selection of sweets follows.
