The Moraira Club Náutico has some 700 Members. The Management Committee is elected as the administrative body to run the club. The Yacht Club was completed in 1985, and the Moraira Club Náutico has been in operation since then.

The objective of the Moraira Club Náutico is to offer first class service to boats in the marina. They employ 20 staff who are experts in harbour management and nautical services. Moraira Club Náutico was one of the first in Europe to achieve the Blue Flag award, granted to those Yacht Clubs that are outstanding in environmental management, and who comply with the highest standards on quality of harbour services offered.
This port has a great range of services and these, together withf restaurants and leisure activities, have made it one of the main centres of social and sporting activities in Moraira. There is a sailing school called Juan Moreno, in honour of a local sailor, which opens in summer, at Easter and at weekends during the rest of the year. Introductory and advanced sailing courses are offered.
