Alicante Airport is 11km south of Alicante. When travelling from Alicante Airport to Moraira you take the AP7 motorway almost immediately after leaving the airport complex.

From the airport complex, before getting to the Motorway, you head NORTH towards ALICANTE, then VALENCIA. You do not go into Alicante

Take care that you do get the right entry onto the A7. The first turning to your right is "ALICANTE N340" - pass this one and get into the right hand lane for the slip-road "A7 ALICANTE & VALENCIA" and avoid "A7 MURCIA & CARTEGENA" (this is actually straight on and will take you in the wrong direction, a direction from which it is very difficult to turn back onto the other carriageway)

If you do go wrong - don't panic nor attempt a U-turn under any circumstances because it is a motorway. Continue over the fly-over, which leads onto the A7 going towards Murcia. Take the first turn-off. Once you have crossed the fly-over and rejoined the A7, you are going in the right direction. This will only add 20 minutes to your journey to Moraira.

Assuming you are now on the A7 heading in the right direction (signed to Valencia), you pass a number of exits for Alicante and eventually join the toll section of the A7. On Spanish Motorways you usually, as in this case, take a ticket and pay when you get off the motorway.

As this is a pay motorway you are now on, there are not many exits. You pass 3 exits (Villajoyosa "salida" (exit) 66, Benidorm 65 and Altea/Calpe 64) and LEAVE AT THE FOURTH - TEULADA /BENISSA exit number 63.

After passing through the toll-gate where you pay so remember to produce your ticket here, fork left for TEULADA (not right for Benissa) and round a steeply curved clover-leaf slip road to onto the N332 heading towards Teulada..

After about 2 km, at the 1st roundabout turn right for TEULADA. Go straight over the 2nd roundabout. Then turn left at the 3rd roundabout, ( a double roundabout) into the Teulada by-pass which has apartments and shops on either side. (this is Avenida del Meditteraneo - an illuminated dual carriageway!).

At the end of Avenida del Meditteraneo there is another roundabout - you will see clearly marked MORAIRA to the right.

Follow the road downhill for about 5 kms until you reach the next roundabout and go straight over towards Moraira. After another kilometer, yet another roundabout, straight on and in 400 metre you arrive at the roundabout marked in red on the map below which is MORAIRA.
